Odelft Nucleotron Simulator (Odelft) Nucletron Simulator

This new space-age fluoroscopic unit with CAT SCAN capability was the second of its model-type installed in the United States. The machine assists in the localization of cancer in the body and allows for the accurate placement of radiation beams. CT images can be compared with fluoroscopic x-rays.

100KVP 100KVP (General Electric) Superficial X-ray unit

Considered the historical standard of care in the treatment of superficial "surface" tumors such as skin cancer and some benign disorders, this unit delivers x-rays with minimal dermal penetration sparing underlying tissue.

100KVP Huestis Computerized Block Cutter

Utilized when Multileaf Collimators are inadequate for patient care, this component of our mold room allows for the creation of custom blocks, unique to each patient, which tailor the shape of the radiation beams to conform to the cancer. The computerized "robotic" action improves the accuracy of this vital component of radiation therapy.
